'It's not every day someone offers to buy you a house'
A former estate agent who fell into the world of home renovation due to the massive number of dilapidated houses she saw every day has spilled the beans on her time on BAFTA award-winning reality show.
"I had the interview but then Covid came back and I didn't hear anything for another 12 months. So when they called me and said they still wanted me on the show, I said 'I thought you'd forgotten about me'!" "We went around Liverpool asking local business and companies if they could help us and a load of them were lovely and gave us discounts. We did a lot of the work ourselves and had friends and family come to help, which helped us get it over the line."
