On 26 April, Wilde took the stage at CinemaCon – an annual movie-industry gathering held in Las Vegas – to promote her new film, starring Florence Pugh and Wilde’s current boyfriend, Harry Styles. Midway through her presentation, she was handed a manila envelope labelled “personal and confidential” by someone in the audience.
Well, not necessarily, as Sudeikis wasn’t in attendance at the event . Still, in order to get into CinemaCon, the process server who handed Wilde the envelope would have needed to purchase a badge, and it’s unclear how exactly those proceedings played out.
