The draw for the 2023-24 Europa League group stages takes place on Friday, with Brighton, Liverpool and West Ham waiting to find out who they will be paired with
The 32 teams are split into four seeding pots. These pots are determined by Uefa’s club coefficient rankings, which are based on previous performance – although as Europa Conference League winners West Ham get the benefit of entering into Pot 1.
One club from each pot is drawn into each of the eight groups. Clubs from the same country cannot be drawn together at this stage. The pots will be finalised once the play-off ties have been completed on Thursday. Here’s how they currently look:
