The unlikely thieves made off with the bin
When you discover your wheelie bin is missing, you probably don't expect to see a middle-aged couple climbing inside and wheeling it away.
This was the comical sight that greeted Lincoln resident Lewis Symonds when he discovered his bin was missing.They were caught on camera. Photo: Lewis SymondsThe camera recorded peculiar activities outside the property on Boultham Park Road around 11.20pm on Friday, July 21. Two people, who appear to be intoxicated, tip the bin over before the woman crouches down and crawls backwards inside it.Once eventually inside, the man lifts the bin and wheels it away.
Lewis said: “Obviously it was funny to watch them pour out the bin juice for her to then climb into it and then be pulled away.”Lewis hasn’t reported it to the police “as they have better things to deal with than someone with a stolen bin."
