Ladbaby could land their fifth Christmas number one in a row
Getting a number one hit is every musician's dream - but having a chart-topping song around Christmas time makes the achievement even more special.
Husband and wife duo Mark and Roxanne Hoyle became the first act in UK history to bag four Christmas number ones in a row when their song Sausage Rolls For Everyone took the top spot. Featuring Ed Sheeran and Elton John, the track raised funds for food bank charity The Trussell Trust.And LadBaby are back at it again this year, hoping to secure a fifth Christmas number one with a cover of Band Aid's 1984 hit Do They Know It's Christmas?, titled Food Aid.
Raye - who has recently become an independent artist - could clear the top spot with her viral hit Escapism, featuring 070 Shake. Sam Smith, who has enjoyed four weeks at number 1 with Unholy featuring Kim Petras, could land themselves another number one with festive tune Night Before Christmas.
