, with firefighters continuing to battle a large blaze that started near Athens on Tuesday.

The fire has left a trail of destruction, burning homes and cars in Fyli and forcing some residents to flee on foot.Dadia forest in Greece’s northern Evros region that borders Turkey – a common route for people from the Middle East and Asia trying to enter the European Union. Two more people have also been found dead as a result of the fires.
