The Prince and Princess of Wales are set to tour Australia next year, in a move aimed at shoring up the Commonwealth under King Charles

: “Interestingly, the Australian Prime Minister has already said that the prime focus of the Australian constitutional change will be on indigenous rights. Whether or not Australia should become a republic. He pushed back whether or not there should be another referendum on the republic to a second term.

She added: “Do I think that these calls of republicanism going to accelerate? Yes. but they are complex and will take time. It’s not going to be ‘a dash for the door’.
