My boys are only 10 and seven so we were restricted by height as to what we could go on, nevertheless, as we embarked on the first roller coaster nothing could have prepared me for what was in store. Speeding through the air with our legs dangling I clung on for dear life. My mouth was dry with terror and my stomach churning as we twisted around the track.Disembarking afterwards my legs had gone to jelly, my head felt dizzy, and I’ve never felt so sick in all my life.
Motion sickness is caused by repeated movements when travelling, like going over bumps in a car or moving up and down in a boat, plane or train. The inner ear sends different signals to your brain from those your eyes are seeing. These confusing messages can make you feel unwell. Symptoms include headaches, nausea, vomiting, sweating and dizziness.
