A woman said her elderly years have been turned into a ‘war zone’ because neighbours want her to fill in her garden pond.
They put fish and frogs inside the pond and Audrey, who suffers from anxiety, often sits next it to unwind and relax. But Audrey’s garden is a communal space shared with other neighbours and they have asked her to get rid of the pond.Neighbours complained to the company which runs the flats, Trent and Dove, and the landlords informally asked Audrey to get the pond filled in.
‘I sit there and watch the fish and I don’t want to have to get rid of the fish. This has been going on for three months and everyone I speak to thinks it’s ridiculous.
