Kate Middleton and Prince William attended the Boston Harbour Defences Engagement for their last visit of day two in Boston.
Having travelled to East Boston, Kate and William were able to see firsthand just how much the city's shoreline has changed due to rising sea levels. They also heard from members of the local community about their terrifying experiences with flooding and storm surge, environmental factors as a result of climate change.
Boston Harbour Now's Stone Living Lab is gearing up to collaborate to create panels for two locations around Boston Harbour. The organisation also focuses on improving parenting, and works closely with the police, courts and child protection services in the aim of helping to build better policies and practices for young people.
