With households across Scotland and the UK struggling amid the worsening cost of living crisis, many will be issued with a Winter Fuel Payment.
Older people may be eligible for a Winter Fuel Payment, which could be a lifeline when the weather turns cold as bills continue to soar. They may also qualify for the Pensioner Cost of Living Payment, which could provide them with an extra £300 boost.Those born before September 25, 1956, could qualify for between £250 and £600 from the Department for Work and Pensions , including both the Winter Fuel Payment and the Pensioner Cost of Living Payment.
