Wirral farmshop café serving 'the most delicious eggs benedict I've ever had'.
There's nothing better than a nice hearty brunch, and I've found the best spot on the Wirral if you love your eggs.
I was a little surprised by the price, but reminded myself that high quality fresh ingredients were being used for the breakfast, so that was sort of understandable. The Eggs Royale features local Raby woodland eggs and smoked salmon, smothered in hollandaise sauce on an English toasted muffin. As I cut into the poached eggs, the golden yolk oozed out and melted into the salty salmon and muffin, I was bascially in brunch heaven. Each bite was light and fluffy, despite the flavours being quite strong overall.
Each table was filled with happy couples, friends and families, some had brought their dog along for the occasion. Despite the café being busy, it didn't feel busy, and that's what made it so enjoyable.
