Wolves reach ‘full verbal agreement’ to sign Arsenal, Leeds target on loan with €50m buy optionWolves have reportedly reached a ‘full verbal agreement’ to sign Matheus Cunha on an initial loan deal from La Liga side Atletico Madrid.
Cunha has only started twice in La Liga and he did not start at all in the Champions League group stages. He is yet to score this season in his 17 outings overall.The Athletic’s David Ornstein stated earlier this month that Wolves were the ‘early favourites’ to sign him Cunha will be Julen Lopetegui’s first signing as Wolves boss. The head coach revealed on Tuesday morning that their deal for Cunha was “close”.
