Lauren Carmichael was described by her mum as 'a warm, bright light of joy'
The mum of a "quick witted, passionate" woman said she "never knew, how beautiful, how intelligent, how worthy of everything she was" before she died.
Her mum Lorraine said: "My beautiful, brave, intelligent baby girl Lauren left this world on Friday, August 4. My heart is broken, the light has left my life. I gave birth to her and love her with every single fibre of my body. My girl gave me life, she gave me a reason to be, a reason to want the best for us. She awoke a part of me that I never knew existed or ever thought could be. She was my saviour, my beginning.
Lauren had recently graduated from York St John University and was in the process of applying for her master's degree. She said: " I had never not had a response from her; my baby always responded and told me where she was going. On the evening of August 5, not long after I had returned from searching for her again, police arrived and delivered news of my baby being found, shattering my world in a split second."
