An 86-year-old woman is fighting for her life after she was knocked off her mobility scooter and left with serious head injuries.

Police are now appealing for witnesses after the crash on Friday in Bipsham, Lancashire at around 11.45am. Emergency services attended and the woman was taken to the Royal Preston Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.The injured woman was travelling with her husband who was riding a similar red mobility scooter.
