Pat Atkinson now wants to help other people
Pat Atkinson lost three and a half stone in the space of 10 months after making some simple swaps to her diet, the Liverpool Echo reports. She said she used to eat ready meals after a busy day, but now avoids that aisle of the supermarket altogether.
After putting on weight during lockdown, Pat noticed her weight was having a negative impact on her mental health and sciatica. Pat said: "I just felt like I needed something to reinvigorate myself. Since losing three and a half stone Pat has decided to start her own Slimming World group which will launch at Kew Evangelical Church in Southport every Tuesday at 8am and 9.30am from August 15. She is keen to apply everything she's been teaching about motivation as a lecturer of psychology into practice in her group.
