The Leeds group helped pay for Sophie Bracknell's mum to be by her side while she was in hospital.
A West Yorkshire woman who suffered multiple breaks after plunging 40ft is backing a fundraiser for the charity that helped her and her family.
She was treated at the major trauma unit at Salford Royal - more than 50 miles from her family in Bradford. Miss Bracken said: "The costs they covered made a massive difference because my mum is a bank nurse so if she doesn't work she doesn't get paid. Kirsty Christmas, fundraising manager, said those hit by major trauma were struggling to cope during the cost-of-living crisis.
