The woman went on to say that she is annoyed as they usually have a good neighbourly relationship.
Sometimes when you move into a new home, you get lucky and your neighbours are considerate of your space. However, other times you may not be so lucky and neighbourhood rows may be on the cards.
"If they had told me they were doing it, I would have arranged to get my side done too. It's a totally different colour and the top and sides are the new colour, as are all the drips on my side. She continued: "I probably said nothing at the time. I will need to get my side painted the same - I don't know whose fence it is, if anyone's, it was here before we both moved here, but it maybe is theirs."
Some sympathised with the woman, whereas others just told her to get on with her party planning and not give the fence a second thought.
