Emergency services including an air ambulance, a trauma doctor, and a critical care paramedic were scrambled to Whitchurch Road, in Prees, at 9.42pm on Wednesday to reports of a two car crash.
"The driver of the first car, a woman, was cut free from the vehicle with the assistance of fire service colleagues before being treated by ambulance staff for potentially serious injuries. "Two patients from the second car, both male, were assessed by medics but did not require hospital treatment and were discharged at the scene."
