The simple process doesn't require any stirring
Cooking a perfect poached egg is something that many of us struggle with, because as simple as they are, there are so many things that can go wrong.
The hack was shared by TikTok creator and dietician Cáoileánn Conway, who often posts healthy recipes and fitness content on her account. Because of this, she's racked up an impressive 59k followers and over a million likes on her videos. Cáoileánn recommended using a slightly shallow pot so that you don't have to use too much water, which is ideal if you're only cooking the eggs for yourself.Bringing in some extra ingredients to aid the process, the dietician explained: "Step two - vinegar and salt. Trust me, you need these both. Then, she turned the hob on to a medium-low heat, and when the white bubbles began to appear, it was time to get the eggs in.
She used the spatula to gently lift the egg and move it around, saying: "There's too much wobble. The whites around where the yolk are are too wobbly."
