HM Coastguard responded to the incident in Glenarm shortly before 1pm
A woman was taken to hospital on Thursday for injuries suffered after a search and rescue operation off the Antrim coast.It’s understood the woman got into difficulty in the water near the marina area of the Co Antrim village.A spokesperson for the Coastguard confirmed that a woman had been recovered following the search and was taken to hospital soon after.
“HM Coastguard coordinated the search for a woman in the water at Glenarm. The alarm was raised at 12.55pm on 19 October,” a spokesperson said.The PSNI, Ambulance Service and RNLI have been contacted for comment.
