A woman who killed her own mum has escaped from a hospital she was being held in indefinitely, as police warn the public not to approach her.
Police said she left on foot on Friday evening after threatening a member of hospital staff with a weapon. She fled while on escorted leave at around 5.10pm. The staff member was not injured, reports the Mirror. Avon and Somerset Police said the are looking into "positive lines of enquiry", with officers on foot being aided by a police helicopter and additional specialist units including a dog and handler.
Police said she has links to Herefordshire, and urged the public not to approach her, but to call 999 immediately, quoting reference 5223194035. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 and quote the same reference number.
