Sharon's charity supports people with fibromyalgia in Scotland and Wales
A Glasgow woman started a charity to help those suffering with fibromyalgia after she attempted to take her own life twice.
"However, if I wasn't working they'd be turned away and asked to return when I was on shift because many of the volunteers didn't understand the condition. Despite the happiness, the mum-of-one would try and end her life for a second time later that year, but still isn't sure why she made the drastic decision.
"The biggest part is that there is no cure, it can't be found during a blood test, it can take eight to 10 years to get a diagnosis. "When I went through everything I didn't have anyone to turn to, I didn't have people who understood me.
