The 'health and life of women' in the US is 'now at risk' after the Supreme Court voted to overturn a landmark abortion ruling, Joe Biden has said.
It is expected at least half of US states will make it illegal.
Sir Keir Starmer also joined the widespread criticism of a decision, tweeting: "Today's devastating Supreme Court decision is a massive setback for women's rights in the United States of America. The decision was the culmination of decades of efforts by abortion opponents, made possible by an emboldened right side of the court that has been fortified by three appointees of former President Donald Trump.
She sued Dallas attorney general, Henry Wade, who made abortion a crime unless in cases of rape, incest or when a mother's life was in danger.
