South Lanarkshire Council is working with Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) to invest in and refurbish the tennis courts at Whitemoss in East Kilbride.

Chair of the council’s Community and Enterprise Resources Committee, Councillor Robert Brown, said: “We are delighted that the tennis courts at Whitemoss are to benefit from this funding from the LTA. Refurbishment work is due to be complete in the new year and courts will be available to book online and via the LTA website which will make it easier for users to book a court or activity.
“This investment is part of the UK Government and LTA’s Parks Tennis Project and will mean that courts will be available for people to use for years to come.
