BREAKING: Worker killed at nuclear power construction site in Somerset.

Construction work at the Hinkley Point C Nuclear Power Station site in Bridgwater, April 7 2022

Nigel Cann, delivery director at the site, said the circumstances surrounding the fatality will be investigated and that work has been stood down. ‘The incident is being investigated by the police and the Health and Safety Executive, and we will co-operate fully with the authorities.
