Sophie Habboo admitted that she and beau Jamie Laing came close to hitting the pause button on their hit podcast NewlyWeds, as working together every day was so 'intense'
Sophie Habboo has admitted that working with her husband Jamie Laing can get very “intense” as she opened up about how their podcast affects their relationship. It was originally called NearlyWeds, but the couple rebranded the show NewlyWeds after they tied the knot in April 2023.
They were joined by a myriad of celeb pals, including fellow former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews and Love Island star Zara McDermott, as they celebrated their nuptials at the gorgeous Villa Las Sirenas in Spain.“The wedding extravaganza was an absolute blast, though I must admit, I'm relieved it's behind us, given how all-consuming it became,” she said, explaining that they’re now focusing on other things.
“It’s quite intense working with your husband as you’re ALWAYS together, and Jamie has A LOT of energy,” she said. “The plan was almost to halt it. But our listeners were really keen for us to continue so we thought about it for a while and we’re actually really excited to be sharing our journey of married life going forward.
It certainly looks like it’s all go for Jamie and Sophie - even if their wedding is now behind them - but Sophie still says she tries her best to find time to “enjoy the little things in life.”
