The event will be celebrated on Saturday, September 9, 2023 and individuals can sign-up to attend now
People across the globe will come together on Saturday, September 9, 2023, to mark World EV Day – a celebration of sustainable travel and electric vehicle ownership.
Learn The Innovation Centre opened in Glasgow in 2021 with the aim of educating visitors about the benefits of alternatively fuelled vehicles and why they are becoming so important. The site is an innovation, information, and educational centre where visitors can also learn about the different types of charging and government grants available.
Customers can simply e-mail heretohelp@arnoldclark.com and a member of staff will get back to them. Arnold Clark has also developed a resources page with handy guides and videos to help customers along the way. Arnold Clark recently announced plans to install around 500 ultra-rapid EV chargers across the UK for its customers, in an investment worth over £23 million. The chargers will be capable of deploying up to 150kW and will be bookable, meaning that individuals will be guaranteed a charge. They will be installed at Arnold Clark branches across the UK, and will be safe, secure and available 24/7.
Each centre, open seven days a week, will have over 30 EVs from a host of manufacturers on-site available to test-drive and buy. The centres, located next to Low Emission Zones, will also serve as click and collect sites, meaning customers can choose from over 1,000 EVs online, find their perfect next car and have it delivered to their nearest branch.
