Game of Thrones star Sean Bean has been axed from yet another TV show after his World on Fire character was given the chop ahead of the BBC drama's second series
Second World War drama World On Fire is back – but Sean Bean has been killed off – again! The actor, 64, has been drowned, stabbed, buried alive and decapitated in 24 incredible screen deaths during his career.
However, Julia Brown, who plays Lois, Sean’s on-screen daughter, has revealed that Douglas has been quietly killed off before the start of series two. “I think it will be a massive shock for viewers to see that Douglas, the committed pacifist, is no longer with us,” adds Julia. The second series is set in 1941, with the action now in occupied France, Nazi Germany and the North African desert.
