The 66-year old, who enjoyed a 25-year career at the World Bank, had seen her candidacy placed at risk when Mr Trump boycotted her appointment as part of his efforts to secure better outcomes for the United States.The WTO is responsible for policing global trade rules but successive US governments have accused it of lacking teeth
