XL bully owners protested in Liverpool city centre today
XL bully owners gathered to protest in Liverpool city centre as owners said they will be “distraught” if a proposed ban on the breed is implemented.
A march against the ban by XL bully owners began today at St George’s Hall, before moving through Liverpool ONE and finishing at the ferry terminal on the Pier Head. There were no XL bully dogs present at the protest. Some protesters were from a group called Save Our Bullies, which is arguing against a ban on XL bully dogs. Signs were held help saying "Don't Bully My Breed".
On how their demonstration was received, she said: "It was really peaceful. We wanted to make our voices heard." They argued that people are scared of XL bully dogs because they don’t understand that, despite being big dogs, they are also family dogs. The protester said: “It's all about how you bring your dog up.
