This would be perfect for a weekend away!
The great British - or in this case Yorkshire - seaside is a staple part of the staycation holiday. Whether it is hitting the arcades of Scarborough or devouring delicious fish and chips in Whitby, there’s nothing quite like a long weekend by the coast.
Josh is all about the organisation, detail and cost. Me? I get distracted easily by shiny things and absolutely love a surprise bash. It was an unlikely match that was quickly made in heaven when we both stumbled across our Love Island-esque villa on AirBnB and knew it ticked every box for both of us.
Thanks to the fantastic directions and before-care given to us by Pass The Property, finding the villa was easy. We pulled in and the sheer size of the house was enough to give the game away to our partners that they were in for a birthday to remember. With six bedrooms and five bathrooms, there is enough room for 14 guests . Each has its own unique theme with song lyrics and titles above the bed in neon lights. There was fresh, clean bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen with a pool table to boot. And that’s just scratching the surface - the best was yet to come.
Saturday night was spent chilling in the hot tub after a delicious spaghetti bolognese for 10 cooked once again, in the spacious kitchen. Ten o’clock arrived and we retreated indoors for card games, a pool knock-out and a cheeky, low-key game of beer pong - remembering we’re all now in our early to mid-thirties and perhaps can’t party as hard as we once did!
