Laura Bassett took a trip back to her old club Bedworth United, to meet the future generation of footballers. ‘Being back at the club, I’ve seen first-hand how coaches will always listen and respect the voices of all their young people'.
Laura Bassett returned to her first club – Bedworth United – to see potential future Lionesses in action star has stressed.
‘It’s a wide open tournament, every game will be tough – but ultimately the most important thing is we see more young people inspired to take part, and when they do they receive the right coaching in an environment that is inclusive and engaging for all.’ She continued: ‘The club provided a great environment for us both to play, where I felt listened to and cared for, and Hayley is doing an amazing job carrying that forward.The group enjoyed a training session with the former England defender
