Brendan McFarlane died at The Harbour
An inquest has opened into the death of a 20-year-old Bacup man who died while he was a patient at a mental health unit in Blackpool.
A final inquest is set to be held later this year, in October, with Blackpool's Senior Coroner Alan Wilson confirming that a jury will be tasked with determining the circumstances leading up to and surrounding Brendan's death.Friday's hearing involved the coroner setting out the scope and potential witnesses for the upcoming inquest.
