First Minister Humza Yousaf is set to attend the Coronation in London on Saturday.
Various events will take place across Scotland to mark the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.
The King will be presented with the Honours of Scotland at a separate Scottish Service of Dedication and Thanksgiving, which will take place at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh later this year. “The King’s longstanding connection to Scotland is well known - through his patronage of many Scottish charities and institutions, including the Prince’s Foundation.
The Royal Standard will fly over St Andrew’s House in Edinburgh - the Scottish Government's headquarters - for the Coronation weekend. This is the flag which represents the monarch and the United Kingdom
