Wolfsburg defender Micky van de Ven – who is being linked with Man City – has spoken out about a potential move to Premier League giants Liverpool.
Liverpool are prepared to pay ‘ten times’ the €3m that Wolfsburg paid to sign Van de Ven – who has been billed as ‘the new Van Dijk’ – from Volendam. The Dutch defender has reportedly also said ‘yes’ to joining Klopp at the Premier League club. “Of course, there are a lot of people who draw lines. It’s true that the director [Schmadtke] went there and I know that Liverpool followed me before. But at the moment I don’t know anything,” Van de Ven tolWhy do ‘gullible’ Liverpool fans believe they can sign the best players in the world?
“Then you are open to that in that sense. There is a chance that after this summer I will just play in the Bundesliga, but there is also a chance that I will make a transfer. We will see. Let’s finish this season first.”
