A woman has died after the Midlands Air Ambulance and West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) were called to a medical emergency in Whitchurch on Thursday.
Despite the scrambling of the air and land ambulance, the woman in George Street in Alport was declared"deceased at the scene".
A spokesperson for WMAS said:"We were called at 12.38pm to a medical emergency at a private address on George Street, Alport in Whitchurch. "One ambulance and the Midland Air Ambulance from Cosford attended the scene. Upon arrival we found a woman. "Unfortunately, it was clear that nothing could be done to save her and she was confirmed deceased at the scene.”
