While it's supposed to be a digital-only game there is an official physical version of Baldur's Gate 3, but only in one country.
It turns out that’s no longer the case… sort of. Baldur’s Gate 3’s PlayStation 5 version will launch physically later in the year, but not everywhere.video gamesNo exact release date has been given, but Spike Chunsoft, which has a history of bringing Western made games to Japan, will be publishing it rather than Larian Studios.
Since the PlayStation 5 isn’t subjected to region locking, an imported Japanese version of Baldur’s Gate 3 will work fine on a UK console. Plus, all the voice acting is in English, so you don’t have to worry about a language barrier. Given Japan’s stricter censorship laws, though, don’t be surprised if several details, such as the violenceguess ill be checking play Asia then for an English supported versionI can’t buy this type of game, not knowing if it’s a genre I’d enjoy on console, without a physical release.Game only has English voice over, so I donât see why it wonât have English as a HUD/Subtitle option, but things like the nudity and maybe violence will be censored due to Japan rating laws.
