A mum says she has no regrets over walking out of a packed bar she was working during a wedding, saying the rude guests 'deserved' to be punished. The bartender, who took on the weekend hotel job while raising two teens, claims she was sexually harassed and abused by wedding guests.
The mother said: "I had to manage a bar of 200 people completely alone. The managers left at 8pm, just as it was kicking off. After enduring the consistent barrage from angry guests, she headed down to the basement to change a barrel. The mother had a panic attack before having an "epiphany"."I'm not their slave. So I just went to the office to clock out and f***ed off home where I spent the rest of the evening drinking wine and watching TV.
"She was unable to serve them as had to be at the front desk, but she dealt with them screaming at her all night. The wedding party are fuming, have all left terrible reviews and are demanding a full refund from the hotel which will likely need to be granted. "That typically would've been my job at 3am after the function." The mother's liberation sparked a conversation on the forum, with people quick to give their thoughts.
