Michael Toner vanished in Edinburgh on Wednesday, September 20.
Michael Toner, 52, was last seen in the Caledonian Crescent area in Edinburgh at around 2.15pm on Wednesday, September 20.
Police discovered a body in the capital in the early hours of Monday, September 25. The body is yet to be formally identified but Mr Toner's family has been made aware of the discovery. Police Scotland said there are no suspicious circumstances and a report will now be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
