and referred to euphemistically as “the change”, is now a very big business. Just as fertility has become a booming, global industry, menopause-related products are projected to turn over $600bn by 2025, according to a recent trend report from the Global Wellness Summit. And savvy celebrities are keen to get a slice of the pie.
In October this year, Watts introduced the New Pause, the inaugural menopause symposium in New York. Tickets cost $150 and Watts had the role because, although known for starring in Hollywood films like, she is also the founder of Stripes, a wellness brand promising “menopause solutions from scalp to vag” including cooling face mists, hydrating vaginal gels, and probiotic supplements.
Of course, it makes sense that this untapped market is getting celebrities and entrepreneurs excited.
