The home of Brontë sisters Charlotte, Emily, and Anne is up for sale, and enthusiasts are seeking funding to buy it.
Brontë enthusiasts are in a race against time to raise more than £350,000 to buy the birthplace of the famous literary sisters.
Concerns that it will end up as a private home with no public access have prompted a campaign group called Save the Brontë Birthplace to set up a crowdfunding appeal. She added: "The house is currently inaccessible to admirers of the Brontës and the general public alike.
