COVID-19 misinformation was mainly spread online by bots in Facebook groups, study finds

Bot accounts used Facebook groups to quickly and massively distribute misinformation, a new study claims. Researchers looked at posts about a Danish study that found inconclusive data as to whether or not wearing a mask reduced transmission of COVID-19.
