Gordon Stirling died five days after the horrendous collision took place.
Police have announced tonight that a fatal horror smash on the A77 is now being treated as a murder investigation.
Five ambulances, two specialists medical teams and an air ambulance were all scrambled to the major incident shortly after 5.30pm on Monday.Detective Chief Inspector Jennifer McCulloch said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing to establish the full circumstances. Two bus passengers, a 68-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, were taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution and later discharged.
