He was just setting up his GPS

A blue-badge holder was left fuming after being hit with a fine for stopping on yellow double lines for "two minutes". Delrich Mazarello, a disabled man from Worksop, said he was only setting up his GPS to make sure he gets home safely after dropping off his friend at the Doncaster Sheffield Airport.

According to the government website, badge holders may park on single or double yellow lines for up to three hours, but in general not where there are restrictions on loading or unloading. Mr Mazarello said he had seen no such sign on that road. Mr Mazarello claims he did not stop his vehicle on the airport premises, but on a public road. The only reason he stopped on this road, he explains, is because he wanted to set up his GPS.
