Car daft Robbie, described as the apple of his mum and dad's eye, died at Strathcarron Hospice on Sunday, September 10.
The parents of a disabled Scots teen claim he was forced to wait four weeks for adequate end of life care before he died.
But the mum and dad, from Falkirk, claim they had begged for urgent palliative care for four weeks before Robbie, who was diagnosed with an extremely rare chromosome abnormality at birth, was finally admitted to Strathcarron Hospice just two weeks before he died on Sunday, September 10. "The doctor told us Robbie was terminal and he would speak to palliative care so his pain could be controlled. But my wife had to chase up the surgeon to send the letter to palliative care."We were left in limbo for four weeks. We were told our son was terminal and then we were just left to it. It was hell."
