Helicopter captures driver 'fleeing vehicle' during police pursuit.
Air Unit said:"The police helicopter assisted yesterday with a lengthy vehicle pursuit from Wishaw to East Kilbride."A great piece of coordination between the crew and ground personnel."
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “Around 10am on Saturday, August 19, 2023, police attempted to stop a Ford Transit van in the Glasgow Road area of Wishaw, in connection with a number of road traffic offences. “The vehicle was traced a short time later in East Kilbride, where a short foot pursuit took place with the male driver.
"He was arrested and charged in connection with a number of offences, and is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, August 21, 2023.”
