Plans for a brand-new 86-bedroom hotel in Morecambe near the proposed Eden Project site have been submitted to lancaster-city-council>Lancaster City Council.
“After securing £50 million of levelling-up funding to create Eden Project Morecambe, the town has received further significant investment. It’s anticipated that Eden Project Morecambe will bring 750,000 people a year on average to the area, a huge economic injection.View gallery “Our building and hotel will create over 60 new jobs in the area throughout construction and hotel operations.”
The 30-bedroom Morecambe Bay Hotel is currently for sale with an asking price of £750,000, according to the Right Move website and agents Nationwide Business Sales. But £1million is expected, according to the details. It could remain a hotel or, potentially, be turned into flats or houses of multiple occupancy, the information adds.
