Jurgen Klopp has spoken about the knock Harvey Elliott sustained during Liverpool's friendly against Lyon
Jurgen Klopp is hopeful that Harvey Elliott’s knock is nothing serious as he explained why the player was taken off during Liverpool’s defeat in a friendly to Lyon.
But just before the half-hour mark Elliott was replaced by Melkamu Frauendorf, the England youth star seen shaking his head as he left the pitch. Speaking at a press conference following the Reds’ 3-1 defeat, Klopp said: “Harvey got a knock before we scored, Harvey got a knock. But I think we were lucky.“He looks fine now but he feels it, that’s normal, there was contact. But I hope we were lucky in that moment.”
