Chris Wootton shared his top top for banishing the trickiest of marks
A natural cleaning hack has been uncovered by a stain-banishing expert - and he claims this solution is the "golden rule" behind getting rid of stubborn marks. Getting rid of stains sometimes feels like a never ending task, with stubborn spills etching themselves into floors across the country.
Chris Wootton, managing director of Poppies, a domestic cleaning business, has stepped in to share a way to get rid of stains on the toilet bowl - arguably the most irritating of them all. This hack uses two natural ingredients to get rid of the stains, instead of bleach-filled cleaners that can stink out a bathroom.
"While bleach doesn't get rid of limescale, it does make it invisible which blends in with the colour of the toilet bowl. That's why toilet bowl stains appear to come back quickly, as they never actually went away."
